FAQFlexGuard FAQ: Answers to Common Questions
This page answers 42 common FlexGuard questions in six groups.
They cover what is in the capsule, how to take it, who should not, what it costs and how the 60-day window works, all read from the label.
Short answers, grouped by what somebody is actually trying to find out, with the long version linked from each group.
FlexGuard FAQ: the product
What is FlexGuard?
A once-daily joint support capsule, 30 capsules to a bottle, so a bottle is a calendar month. The panel names 8 actives and prints an amount for every one.
What does it support?
supports joint comfort; supports mobility and everyday movement; supports the body through everyday joint stress. Those are structure and function statements and they are the ceiling on what this website says.
How many ingredients are in it?
Eight. Together they come to 699 mg in one capsule, of which 500 mg is glucosamine sulfate.
What are the eight?
Glucosamine sulfate 500 mg, Boswellia serrata 67 mg, chondroitin sulfate 50 mg, turmeric root 50 mg, and quercetin, methionine, MSM and bromelain at 8 mg each.
Is there a proprietary blend?
No. Every row has its own printed amount, which is what makes every comparison on this website possible.
What is the capsule made of?
Hypromellose, which is a vegetable capsule. The only other inactive ingredient is rice flour.
Is it a gummy or a powder?
Neither. It is a capsule, swallowed, one a day.
FlexGuard FAQ: taking it
What is the dose?
As a dietary supplement, take one (1) capsule daily. One capsule, and the label says not to exceed it.
When should I take it?
Whichever time you will not forget. The label sets no hour and nothing on this panel is affected by time of day.
With food or without?
The label does not say. Bromelain is a digestive enzyme, so some people find a capsule sits better with a meal.
What if I miss a day?
Take the next one at the usual time. Do not double up.
Can I take two to get closer to the trial dose?
No. The label says one and not to exceed it. Two would still be below the glucosamine trial amount and would double seven rows nobody has studied at that level.
How long before I know?
The distributor puts the typical wait at 3–6 weeks. Measure two things before you start and again at week eight.
How should I store it?
“Store this product in a cool, dry place below 30°C (86°F).” A bathroom cabinet is the worst place in most houses, because it is warm and humid.
FlexGuard FAQ: safety and suitability
Does it contain shellfish?
Yes. The panel prints “Contains: Shellfish (Crayfish)” because the glucosamine is made from crustacean shell.
Is it suitable for vegetarians or vegans?
No. The shell is plant-derived and the glucosamine inside it is not.
Who should not take it?
Anyone under 18, anyone pregnant or nursing, and anyone with a shellfish allergy. The first two are excluded by the label's own caution.
Can I take it with warfarin?
Ask your prescriber before the first capsule. Glucosamine has been reported to raise INR in people taking warfarin.
Will it affect blood sugar?
The review evidence found no clinically significant effect at standard doses, and this capsule carries a third of a standard dose.
Does it have side effects?
No specific adverse effect is printed on the label beyond its general caution. The commonest report in this ingredient class is mild stomach upset in the first week.
Does it treat arthritis?
No, and no dietary supplement may claim that. Nothing on this website says treats, prevents, manages or cures about any condition.
Should I see someone about my joint pain?
If it is new, severe, on one side only, hot, swollen or followed an injury, yes. That is a different question from the one a supplement answers.
FlexGuard FAQ: the label and the doses
Why is the glucosamine only 500 mg?
That is what the label prints. The trials in this literature used 1,500 mg a day, so this row is a third of that, and this website says so rather than leaving it to be worked out.
Is 8 mg of MSM a useful amount?
The published MSM trials ran from about 1.5 g to 6 g a day. Eight milligrams is far below any tested amount and this website does not pretend otherwise.
Which row is closest to its research?
Boswellia at 67 mg, against 100 to 250 mg of a concentrated extract in its trials.
Why does every row have a dagger?
Because no Daily Value has been established for any of them. A Daily Value exists for vitamins and minerals, and none of these eight is either.
Is the turmeric an extract?
The label names the root and prints no extract ratio, so this website treats it as root rather than as a standardised extract.
Why does the artwork show six ingredients?
The seller's ingredient graphic names six of the eight. MSM and bromelain are on the printed panel and not in the picture. The panel governs.
FlexGuard FAQ: buying and delivery
How much does FlexGuard cost?
$158 for two bottles, $207 for three and $294 for six. That is $79, $69 and $49 a bottle.
Can I buy a single bottle?
No. The ladder starts at two, which is a sixty-day supply.
Is there a subscription?
Each pack is bought once at the checkout.
What does shipping cost?
The charge for your address is shown at the checkout. No figure is published ahead of it.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders are processed within one to two business days. No transit window is published, so the tracking number in the dispatch email is the accurate answer.
Where is it sold?
Through the official checkout on this website. There is no retail distribution.
Who takes the payment?
BuyGoods is the retailer at the checkout. Card details are never entered on this website.
FlexGuard FAQ: the guarantee and refunds
How long is the guarantee?
60 days, counted from the date of purchase of your order rather than from the day you paid.
Two documents word the window differently. Which applies?
This website counts sixty days from purchase, which is the earlier of the two dates and therefore safe under either reading. The guarantee page sets both sources out in full.
Does it cover opened bottles?
Yes, on every pack.
Who pays return postage?
You do, unless the item arrived damaged, defective or wrong through the seller's error. Send it tracked.
How do I start a refund?
Call +1 (877) 257-0710 with your order ID and ask for a return authorisation and the return address. Do not post bottles back before you have both.
How long does the money take?
Three to five business days for the desk to process it, then five to ten more before your bank posts it.
Which email cannot help with a refund?
[email protected]. That desk reads these pages and has no access to the order system.
Where the longer FlexGuard answers live
Four groups of pages, and which question each one answers at length.
About the capsule
Ingredients takes all eight rows in turn. Supplement facts reproduces the panel line for line, in the format the federal labelling rule requires. How it works separates the three mechanisms.
About taking it
How to take it covers the routine and the two measurements worth keeping. The results timeline sets the weeks against what the trials measured.
About suitability
Who it is for covers both directions. Side effects covers the allergen line, warfarin and what is theoretical at 8 mg.
About the order
Pricing, shipping, the guarantee and the refund policy cover the transaction end to end.
