How Much Should a Joint Supplement Cost? Per Day and Per Milligram
A fair joint supplement price needs two sums: cost per day and cost per 100 mg of what you want. FlexGuard costs $2.63, $2.30 or $1.63 a day by pack. That is about 38, 33 or 23 cents per 100 mg of declared actives. Milligrams alone cannot settle value, because rows differ in size.

People search for joint supplement price and joint supplement reviews in the same breath. A price on its own says very little. It needs something beside it.
This page shows two simple sums you can run on any bottle. It then runs them on FlexGuard, whose label prints every amount, and says what the answers do and do not mean.
What do the FlexGuard packs cost per day?
A bottle is 30 capsules and the label sets one a day, so a bottle is a month. The seller lists three packs, and its prices were read on 19 September 2026.
| Pack | Total | Per bottle | Days covered | Cost a day |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 bottles | $158 | $79 | 60 | $2.63 |
| 3 bottles | $207 | $69 | 90 | $2.30 |
| 6 bottles | $294 | $49 | 180 | $1.63 |
Shipping is shown at the checkout and no figure is published ahead of it, so it is not in these sums.
There is no single-bottle option, and no struck comparison price is published. The three totals are the whole list.
How do you work out cost per 100 mg?
The idea is to find what you pay for each unit of the thing you care about. Here is the method, step by step.
- Take the price of the pack, and divide it by the days it covers. That is the cost a day.
- Find the milligrams of the ingredient in one daily dose, from the Supplement Facts panel.
- Divide the cost a day by those milligrams, and multiply by 100.
- Repeat for the same ingredient on the other bottle, using its own daily dose and not its single capsule.
Step four is where most comparisons go wrong. A serving is sometimes three or four capsules, so the figure on the panel is not the figure for one pill.

Six bottles cover 180 days at $1.63 a day, but only the first 60 are inside the guarantee. The checkout shows the current price.

What does FlexGuard cost per 100 mg of active material?
The eight printed amounts total 699 mg, and one capsule is one day. So 699 mg is the daily total.
| Pack | Cost a day | Per 100 mg of declared actives |
|---|---|---|
| 2 bottles | $2.63 | About 38 cents |
| 3 bottles | $2.30 | About 33 cents |
| 6 bottles | $1.63 | About 23 cents |
Cost a day divided by 6.99, because 699 mg is 6.99 hundreds of milligrams.
This figure lumps eight ingredients together. A milligram of glucosamine and a milligram of bromelain are not worth the same, so treat it as a rough scale and nothing more.
And what does it cost per 100 mg of glucosamine alone?
Glucosamine is the one row most buyers compare. It is 500 mg a capsule, which is five hundreds of milligrams.
| Pack | Cost a day | Per 100 mg of glucosamine |
|---|---|---|
| 2 bottles | $2.63 | About 53 cents |
| 3 bottles | $2.30 | About 46 cents |
| 6 bottles | $1.63 | About 33 cents |
These count the whole capsule against one row. The other seven rows are in the price too.
This is the honest comparison point for anyone buying mainly for glucosamine. The big trials used 1,500 mg a day, three times the FlexGuard row, so a product built for that goal may use more milligrams per dollar. The label here is written for breadth, not for that goal.
Why can price per milligram not settle the question?
- Eight rows are not equal. Four of them are 8 mg each, and one is 500 mg.
- Several studied amounts are in grams, so a cheap milligram of a name may buy nothing tested.
- The number of capsules a day affects whether you will finish the course.
- A refund window changes what a failed trial costs you.
A cost sum is a filter, not a verdict. It tells you which questions to ask next.
What else belongs in the cost sum?
Shipping, for one. The checkout shows the charge for your address, and none is published ahead of that. Return postage, for another: it is the buyer's unless the item arrived damaged, defective or wrong through the seller's error.
The guarantee matters too. FlexGuard offers 60 days from the date of purchase on every pack, opened bottles included. Two bottles cover exactly that span. The six-pack costs less a day, but four of its six months fall outside the window.
There is no subscription, so nothing renews unless you place a new order.
Is a discount code the same as a lower price?
A code only matters if it exists. No promo code, coupon or sale price is published for FlexGuard. The only price list is the three packs above.
Be careful with a page that shows a crossed-out price. This seller prints none, so a struck figure was not published by it. If a listing shows a bottle outside $49 to $79, it is not this seller's offer.
- FlexGuard packs: 2 bottles $158, 3 bottles $207, 6 bottles $294. Prices were read on 19 September 2026.
- Cost a day: $2.63, $2.30 and $1.63.
- Per 100 mg of the 699 mg of declared actives: about 38, 33 and 23 cents.
- Per 100 mg of glucosamine alone: about 53, 46 and 33 cents.
- Shipping is shown at the checkout. No promo code or struck price is published.
- The guarantee is 60 days from purchase, with return postage paid by the buyer unless the seller erred.
Frequently asked questions
How much does FlexGuard cost per day?
$2.63 a day on two bottles, $2.30 on three and $1.63 on six, at one capsule a day. Shipping is not included and is shown at the checkout.
How do I compare joint supplement prices?
Divide each pack price by the days it covers, then divide by the milligrams of the ingredient you want in one daily dose. Check the serving size first, because it may be several capsules.
What is the cheapest FlexGuard pack?
The six-bottle pack is cheapest per day at $1.63. It is also a commitment, because four of its six months fall outside the 60-day guarantee.
Is there a FlexGuard discount code?
None is published. The seller lists three pack prices and no coupon, promo code or crossed-out price.
Does cost per milligram show which supplement is better?
No. Rows differ in size and in studied amounts, so milligrams are a rough filter. Compare what each row holds against its research instead.
Does the price include shipping?
No. The checkout shows the shipping charge for your address, and no figure is published ahead of it.
Our view
A joint supplement price is only useful next to a number you care about. Cost a day tells you what the routine costs. Cost per 100 mg tells you roughly what each unit costs. Neither tells you if it helps.
FlexGuard is not the cheapest way to buy glucosamine and does not try to be. If breadth in one capsule with printed amounts appeals to you, the sums are fair and open. Work them yourself with the live checkout price.

Two bottles cover 60 days, exactly the length of the refund window.
